My first roller-coaster ride. <br />Was as if it was the last day of my life. <br />Oh boy! Thought I by closing my eyes. <br />Twists and turns looked as if I’d drop, <br />Of the ceiling from so high. <br />Screams and shouts seemed the, <br /> Most common thing on that ridiculous ride. <br />With a heart to pop-out and a shoe to drop-out, <br />I could not imagine a single thought. <br />Apart from all that the sounds were scary. <br />It sounded like a thunder was coming, <br />It sounded as if an engine was running. <br />Closed I kept my eyes for the whole ride, <br />I just sneaked through, with a little opening of my eye, when I realized <br />The sky was down, <br />The ground was up, <br />And my legs were flying in the middle of the earth. <br />Horrified I shut my eyes again. <br />And after a minute or two felt the harsh wind stopped by me. <br />The ride ended. <br />And I was all frozen. <br />I had my hair puffed up like a scientist after an unsuccessful experiment. <br />But at the end I realized, <br />That it was actually the best ride I ever had in my life.<br /><br />Sana Samad<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-first-roller-coaster-ride/
