the world drowned me in sadness <br />sadness drowned me in pain <br />pain drowned me in death <br />death brought me back <br />back to life <br />life tried to bring me happiness <br />i denyed it satisfaction <br />the denyed satisfaction tried to bring my heart back to me <br />i threw my heart at the murderer of my heart <br />and yelled take it and leave me alone! <br />he picked it up and walked towards me <br />and told me he loved me <br />but i just sat there and cried <br />cried and told the murderer of my heart to leave me alone <br />he held me in his arms and tried to pull the gun out of my hands <br />he told me that if i pulled the trigger he would do the same <br />so i asked him why <br />he said if i cant be with you in life i want to be with you after death <br />i pulled the trigger, but the gun was empty <br />so i dropped the gun and just sat there <br />crying in the murderer's arms <br />while he smiled and just held me<br /><br />taylor marie<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/drowned-in-sadness/
