Sitting alone with head in hand
Thinking about her life.
Wondering just how she lost it
She thought she was his wife.

How could he just up and leave
She never did him wrong.
Always faithful was she, but
Now she was all alone.

And down her face on they fell
They fall with pain and all.
Drip, drops all full of sadness
Now where did she belong?

Left without and without left
She turned to do the right.
Angel took what strength she had
And got back in the fight.

She put aside all those worries
About where her life was now.
And drummed up the courage
To do this act of frown.

Now her face they fall no more
Not with pain at all.
No more falling drip drops of sadness
She’s where she belongs.

For taking the life that
She built herself around,
She took the one he
So loved and…. smiled about it.

Now he’s sits with head in hand
Thinking about his life.
Wondering just why he left it
Saying, “Oh I miss my wife”.

10/22/09

Mrs. Vicious Demon

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/ballad-of-angel-s-tears/
