A Cubistic Color <br /> <br />The pale azure hue <br />Flanking its eastern neighbor <br />Strikes me with spiky angularity <br /> <br />Its diametrically opposite <br />Obtuse perspective repulses as if <br />A South-South or North-North poles <br /> <br />Butted head to head <br />And when I approach too close <br />They start vibrating a dance of infidelity <br /> <br />Each attempting to take the lead <br />The most puzzling effect <br />Judging by the sheen <br /> <br />Is the diamond window viewed obliquely <br />It appears adjacent to the rainbow <br />A Cirque du Soleil Bungee performance <br /> <br />In tiny incremental facets <br />Each reflecting different corners of <br />A kaleidoscopic universe <br /> <br />Viewed from a multitude of keyholes <br />One color absorbing the next <br />In one smooth continuous swallow <br /> <br />Regurgitating at the forefront <br />An oddly fashioned guitar <br />From whose entrails notes escapes <br /> <br />They come in waves <br />Opposite the painted moon <br />In the high noon position <br /> <br />But before they do they defy the <br />nickel plated stainless steel <br />to rust before chicken grow teeth <br /> <br />~~~ <br />Alex Nodopaka Aug©2008 <br />AD Something<br /><br />Alex Nodopaka<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-cubistic-color/
