Once upon a time I’d of never guessed how, <br />Things are turning out, how different things are now. <br />I used to believe that I’d never be one of those, <br />One of them but that’s just how it goes. <br />Out on the street every night, always something to say. <br />Drinking at every chance, drugs every day. <br />When I was young, I vowed not to turn out like this. <br />But now things have changed, and I guess I’m everything I didn’t want to be. <br /> <br />Once apon a time I would never of believed anyone if they <br />were to tell me that things would turn out this way. <br />Maybe if i knew, if I had a clue- I could of held on tighter <br />to what i truely believed, and this girl could of kept on fighting. <br />I should of seen this coming, although I had no clue. <br />but now its over - no going back... ill do what i have to do. <br />When I was a girl, this is not what I had planned. <br />But I suppose it's my destiny, and I guess i'm everything I just didn't want to be.<br /><br />sweet dreams<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/now-looking-back/
