Seeing the religious preachers <br />Spreading superstition in the name of faith <br />And devilish nature in the name of God <br />And destroying humaneness <br />In human-beings <br />I am engulfed by fires of disquiet <br />But am not able to become Adi Sankaraacharya [1] <br /> <br />Observing the selfish leaders changing citizens into barbarians <br />In the name of caste, religion, region, language and ideology <br />I am shaking with anger <br />But not able to become <br />Another Chaanakya [2] <br /> <br />Noticing fellow humans in pains of poverty <br />And with lack of minimum amenities <br />And people without a square meal a day <br />Who are satisfying their hunger with tears; <br />My heart is melting and wrenched <br />But <br />I am not able to become The Buddha [3] <br /> <br />The reason for my inability <br />Is <br />I am <br />I am <br /> <br />[1].
