My church has been a blessing <br />Where I’ve prayed for many years <br />I thank God for my gifts <br />And ask guidance for my fears <br /> <br />A place to share with friends and family <br />Where we bow our heads in prayer <br />And when special holidays arise <br />We always meet right there <br /> <br />Christmas is a special time for us <br />To honor our baby Jesus <br />To get the little children together <br />And really make a fuss <br /> <br />With their singing and their little skits <br />They understand what Christmas means <br />They learn to look ahead <br />The Christian way to plan their dreams <br /> <br />My church is so very beautiful <br />Inside and outside too <br />I hope there is a church as well <br />That means the world to you!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-church-4/
