Beginning my daydream I close my eyes <br />And imagine what could be if I surmise. <br /> <br />Storybook pages open before me <br />Magical places all waiting to be <br />Explored, excitedly. <br />........................ Peopled by smiling <br />Gossamer fairies flying <br />..................................high, skyward <br />To follow their dreams <br />...................Their Lady Fey leading <br />Opens her colourful queenly wings, <br />......................................... and feeds <br />From her fingers <br />.......................droplets of moonlight <br />To beam down the paths <br />.................... of her Phantom Knight. <br />Who rides a star-chariot, gleaming <br />Like sunlight, stops <br />.....................as he enters the scene, <br />And lifts his Queen <br />........................... into a secret place, <br />Tucks her round in blankets of cloud, <br />........................................... and races <br />Away, followed by rainbows <br />......................... and fairy-blown tears <br />Of goodbye. <br />.............
