Life seemed to be in haze and smoke <br />Every one preferred to interfere and poke <br />They had all the means to excite and provoke <br />But I started it well with brilliant stroke <br /> <br />I restrained and countered it with strong resolve <br />Put in all best efforts to come out of it and solve <br />Sent all the goals with calculation and precision <br />Not with hesitation but in manner with perfect decision <br /> <br />Moving towards goal inch by an inch <br />Not easy path but bearing the heavy punch <br />Receiving the shock waves with close shave <br />God was with me to protect and save <br /> <br />What else one can offer and react <br />Time runs out nothing remains to act <br />It is third sense that comes to rescue and help <br />Feet are firmly placed ground thinly held <br /> <br />God and fortune favours the brave only <br />You mind yourself alone and lonely <br />What can be termed as grave and disastrous? | <br />Can be brought under control with efforts continuous <br /> <br />I have learnt a lot from grim battle <br />Slight mistake can proved to be fatal <br />It can turn into collapse and turn about <br />Victory may suddenly result into rout <br /> <br />You can be turned into fine jewel <br />Making full use of opportunity and excel <br />Rest all can be reality and fact <br />Luck may also favour if employed with tact <br /> <br />Result can be anything despite best efforts <br />Friends can be turned foe despite good rapports <br />Victory or defeat can’t be achievement or failure <br />No one can predict or take it for sure <br /> <br />Do and perform as your conscious permit <br />Throw full weight before you make move or commit <br />Nothing can prevent us from reaching ladder top <br />All counts in game ………………………<br /><br />hasmukh amathalal<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/inch-by-an-inch/
