Dressed in tattered clothes <br />And an old rain coat <br />Two sizes too big for him <br />The little boy gazed longingly <br />At the Christmas tree <br />Standing outside <br />A large shop window <br />The sparking lights <br />Left him totally fascinated <br />As did the neatly wrapped <br />Gifts strewn at the base <br />Of the snow laden tree <br />'Who will be the lucky child <br />To open all those presents?
