after the flood subsides <br />the sea becomes divided <br />at the tip is deep blue <br />near the shore is the paleness <br />of the brown river <br />still confused <br />about what to do <br /> <br />somehow <br />the parting is gone <br />now the sea <br />is confident again <br />in peace <br />in the depths of its <br />blueness <br />in the joys of its <br />foams <br />as the seagulls dive <br />for its bountiful <br />fish <br />once again<br /><br />RIC S.
