I can't keep doing this to myself, <br />the stress will kill me. <br />I have to stop <br />my knife. <br />I can't keep doing this. <br />It's become out of control. <br />Too hard to control. <br />I'll kill myself, <br />possibly on accident, <br />but maybe not. <br />I've already tried, <br />too close a call. <br />Words carved into my skin. <br />ALONE <br />is the brand I bear. <br />I can't be trusted ALONE anymore. <br />But I'm drowning, <br />I can't see the surface anymore. <br />I call for help, <br />no I SCREAM <br />for it. <br />But no one answers. <br />They've all but forgotten <br />the girl they used to love, <br />or at least were friends with. <br />But she still won't blame <br />another for her pain, <br />only herself. <br />Bubbles slipping from her lips <br />she sinks down <br />into her sea of depression. <br />Frozen and on the brink of death <br />she opens her blue eyes one more time. <br />Her hair everywhere <br />around her in a sea of the bluest blue <br />and moves her now frozen lips <br />for what may be the last time. <br />With my dying breath I ask you, <br />will you save my heart <br />even if it's not worth saving? <br />She closes her eyes <br />and drifts downward. <br />Help came to late. <br /> <br />Dec.-10-09 <br /> <br /> Don't let this happen to you or a person you care about. Ever. Help doesn't always need to come to late. But if you don't help, who will? Be the one who stands up and saves a life. Be the one who stands up and is a Hero. Sometimes, a smile is all it takes.
