Sounds of Christmas carols <br />from little boys and girls <br />singing with their heart’s delight <br />hopping from one house <br />to another <br /> <br />a Filipino tradition <br />caroling with the hope <br />of receiving a simple Christmas blessing <br />to buy food on Christmas eve <br /> <br />in a hospital bed <br />lays a four month old baby <br />with a hole in his heart <br />medicines and staff holding him in suspense <br /> <br />this little baby boy, if he grows up <br />could be one of those <br />doing the rounds in his village <br />singing Christmas carols on Christmas eve <br /> <br />but he is still waiting <br />fighting for his dear life <br />and needs prayers and a miracle <br />from the healing hands of Jesus <br /> <br />as I prepare and celebrate <br />the birthday of the Christ child <br />on my knees with my family <br />we will be praying for one special gift <br /> <br />for Carl Steven<br /><br />Meggie Gultiano<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/one-special-gift-this-christmas/
