The dynasty of Hugh Hefner is about to crumble down, <br />Down to the financial ground. <br />Playboy, with it's bunnies, was the man's choice for its points a view. <br />From articles that featured headliners from music and sports, <br />To the jokes and cartoons, and lest we forget the 'buxomy' nude pictorials too! <br />Hugh Hefner was into mass advertising, <br />-the monthly rag brought millions of dollars to him <br />-and a lucrative living of sorts. <br />From 1953 on, he was driving force in the sexual revolution. <br />He was the man in the red smoking jacket and a pipe. <br />Then came along the technological revolution that began his demise. <br />That was no surprise! <br />Hugh as to share blame. <br />For the internet was begotten, which made nude pictures of females, <br /> -along every news account, <br />Some guys, or in some gals, would have an interest in, <br />-was at his/her whim, for NOT buying an extra magazine. <br />Even 'king of smut', Larry Flynt, (who produced 'Hustler') <br />-who fought many charges for dealing with pornography, <br />He was the nemesis of Hefner, <br />-asked the congress to approve a federal bail out the porn industry! <br />Fat chance! <br />Does he have no shame? <br />Maxim is doing well, they don't feature front total nudity. <br />Anyway, Hugh and Larry, the Playboy and the Hustler, respectively, <br />Are going down a slippery slope not full of cheer in the next year. <br />The Girls Next Door are going to have live somewhere else, <br />But not in the near future. <br /> <br />12-17-09<br /><br />Joe Rosochacki<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/can-playboy-stay-abreast-uhm-afloat/
