Christmas is such a Magical Time - we need another inspiring Chritsmas Poem to offset all the angst in some of the PH Poems. <br />This is based on a Poem by the late ANNE BRONTE <br /> <br />I love all types of music - and refrains <br />They can kindle raptures all Divine <br />Soften our grief and assauge our pains <br />And raise our inner Spirits - Yours & Mine <br />Like those we hear on Christmas Morn <br />Across the snowy breezes born. <br /> <br />With joy we greet this glorious morn <br />Welcomed by Angels so so long ago <br />When JESUS - Saviour of the World - was born <br />Bringing Heaven here to Earth below! <br />Satan and darkness to dispell <br />And save us all from Sin & Hell. <br /> <br />With them we celebrate His birth <br />Give Glory to our God in Heaven <br />A message bringing PEACE ON EARTH <br />To us a Saviour has been given. <br />God calls us through the Angels voice <br />To praise and worship and rejoice! <br /> <br />God's Holy Peace smiles down from Heaven <br />And Gospel Truths - from our lips spring <br />The bonds of sin and Hell are riven <br />By JESUS our Redeemer King <br />He died and gave his blood for men <br />And brought us back to God again! ! ! ! ! ! ! <br /> <br />(John Knight - Snowy Colchester - 25 December 2009)<br /><br />John Knight<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/1016-christmas-morning/
