When stars on earth die <br />They're reborn stars in heavens sky <br /> <br />Their deeds and charities abode <br />In hearts and minds, they are bestowed <br /> <br />Each year the unexpected go <br />Someway, somehow, we're dealt a blow <br /> <br />Somebody's idol, someone's friend <br />Who met a short and tragic end <br /> <br />We take with us the love they gave <br />We walk the roads that they first paved <br /> <br />The inspiration from them, drawn <br />Gives us the power to walk on <br /> <br />In life, we come to know of pain <br />Making sacred, things we gain <br /> <br />Our eyes will see their share of wonder <br />And hopeful dreams that fade asunder <br /> <br />For now let's look around, sublime <br />And cherish people in our time<br /><br />Bryce Edward Coast<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/when-stars-on-earth-die/
