Something/Sometimes <br /> <br />you've lost your mascara, your running behind, <br />hump day has passed, now this poem you find, <br />I was going to write you something, something so sweet, <br />something that I hoped, would sweep you off of your feet, <br />but then I realized, just why should you care, <br />I'm way over here, and your way over there, <br />you have your own life, and of course I have mine, <br />I'm just a simple poet, sometimes out of line, <br />sometimes I say things, things I should not say, <br />I really have no right, thinking that you might feel this way, <br />feel the way that I do, sometimes it's so hard, <br />knowing what I should say, what I should discard, <br />yes, I know this is fantasy, this is not really real, <br />yet I cannot help wondering, knowing the way that I feel, <br />sometimes your dreams, may cause you to feel pain, <br />if this is a fantasy, why do I stand in the rain? , <br />rain that I cause, with the tears that are real, <br />yes, this is something, sometimes I feel, <br />I dream of your laughter, I long for your touch, <br />sometimes my dreams, are just too damn much, <br />just one sweet kiss, from your ruby red lips, <br />something, sometimes, just two passing ships, <br />I'm hoping my ship, has a life jacket on board, <br />cause I feel I am sinking, playing this Phrygian chord, <br />I now seen the sun, peeking out at first light, <br />I made it again, I got through the night, <br />now I feel happy, I think I should dance, <br />I saw your reflection, if only a glance <br /> <br />Gomer LePoet...<br /><br />Gomer LePoet<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/something-sometimes/
