For just another moment <br />Last turn before goodnight <br />I thought I'd stretch it out a bit and parked there at the light <br />A line behind me honking, single fingers on there hands <br />Silence in that front seat as I reached over for her hand. <br />For just another second, avoiding a goodnight kiss <br />I slowed before I reached the light <br />Hoping the green was the one I'd miss. <br />But the yellow light betrayed me, and never came to show <br />The Red could not delay me, because the light was stuck on go. <br />I don't mind if she hates me, or if the traffic will honk and cuss <br />If she wanted to be home on schedule than she shouldve taken the bus <br />But no she wasn't angry, <br />she wanted the moment too <br />A long deep kiss, a summers bliss in the middle of the winter cool <br />So here we are ticking off a hundred people just one turn from goodnight kiss. <br />We Put in park our pumkin carrige so we can enjoy our midnight bliss.<br /><br />Bragg Adocio<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/green-light-2/
