Perly Sunflower <br /> <br />Everyone likes flowers, I mean why not? , <br />they're pretty to look at, and smell really good, <br />they come in all different colors, sizes, and shapes, <br />I may be wrong, but I think they're even on grapes <br /> <br />Red, White, Blue, Yellow and Pink, <br />big leaves, small leaves, thorns, pistils and stamens, <br />bees really love them, Bumble's, sweats and honey, <br />the magnificent butterfly, and sometimes a bunny <br /> <br />they're good to chew on and they smell fantastic, <br />at least the bunnies and beetles think so, <br />It's really hard to pick out a really special flower, <br />you can run it through your mind for over an hour <br /> <br />but there is one special one, that I've become quite fond of, <br />It's yellow and brown and reaches out to the sun, <br />basking in the brilliance of the morning sunlight, <br />she really stands out, she's such a beautiful sight <br /> <br />I had not paid very much attention to her previously, <br />I took me a while to really notice, mixed in like that, <br />then she grabbed my leg one day as I walked by, <br />I looked at her more closely, she caught my eye <br /> <br />we had a longer conversation that particular day, <br />we chatted about this and that and everything in between, <br />there was something special about this one with leaves so curly, <br />and I decided to name her my Sunflower Perly <br /> <br />we've become much closer over the last few days, <br />not sure why exactly, just seems to be a connection, <br />I make sure I stop by everyday to see how she feels, <br />and she smiles up at me my Perly so real <br /> <br />Gomer LePoet...<br /><br />Gomer LePoet<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/perly-sunflower/
