Today I'm leaving behind <br />My footsteps in the snow <br />And lots of memories of life <br />That I'm making in high and low <br /> <br />Periods of my life and living <br />Venturing with some hope <br />Into the uncharted territory <br />Of unopened doors of rope <br /> <br />For the rope of life is hanging <br />very high in the turning zone <br />where I'm standing and watching <br />life flowing with a misty moan <br /> <br />and there i'm trying to reconnect <br />With the rhythm of my life <br />Where I'm bound to live <br />And joyfully here survive <br /> <br />And in these times of challenge <br />I search for strength and hope <br />That can take me to the door of fain <br />Where no one can enter with mope <br /> <br />So I can allow myself to smile <br />And give new birth to faith <br />where my soul can sing and dance <br />And take me to the gate <br /> <br />The gate of infinite possibilities <br />Where miracles happen everyday <br />And brighten the world of darkness <br />In magnificiant and joyful ways <br /> <br />So I can leave behind <br />My footsteps in the snow <br />And lots of memories of life <br />That I'm making in life's flow.<br /><br />Seema Chowdhury<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/footsteps-in-the-snow-3/
