Streaks of yellow <br />Illuminate the day <br />And toss my worries <br />Into the fray <br /> <br />Splashes of blue <br />Flood my mind. <br />Uncertainty becomes familiar, <br />Though uncertain at times. <br /> <br />Stains of red <br />Breed anger within, <br />Tempting me to provoke <br />My littlest sin. <br /> <br />Spills of green <br />Evident in envious eyes. <br />Envious lust, <br />Envious crimes. <br /> <br />Shades of grey <br />Depress the sky <br />And bore the world <br />With sweet demise. <br /> <br />Coats of black <br />Darkened by hate. <br />Learn to love <br />Before it's too late. <br /> <br />These are the colors in my spectrum.<br /><br />James D.
