Thinking about a song, <br />To describe a country so strong, <br />Describing which in words, <br />Shall be very wrong. <br /> <br />The History has been long, <br />With some bings And bong, <br />But the heritage still grows, <br />And I can bet that; by hitting the biggest gong. <br /> <br />To describe about the beauty, <br />I can sign any treaty, <br />Be it a Mountain or dynasty, <br />They can be compared to divinity. <br /> <br />The Himachal and the Ganga, <br />Together shine on the Tiranga, <br />Kanyakumari on the extreme south, <br />Praises conquer on Lanka. <br /> <br />The Arabian guards the west, <br />Himalaya's on the Northern quest. <br />While the Indian and the Pacific, <br />Takes Care of the Rest <br /> <br />Sometimes we bow before the Holy Cross <br />Sometimes play with colors <br />Seasons come with festivals <br />As trees shine green, when it showers <br /> <br />People from over a 28 states <br />When come together in a far land <br />They look as if the mother herself <br />Stands wearing a garland <br /> <br />And Here I conclude <br />While thinking about a song, <br />To describe a country so strong, <br />Describing which in words, <br />Shall be very wrong.<br /><br />Preetam Shetty<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/speaking-about-india/
