Goodbye to today, nothing worked <br />everything turned out flat and grey <br />like the sky, menacing, tried to wake <br />up, overcome myself, staring at pic- <br />tures of Pavlova, all encouragement <br />sounds like threats, dreaming seems <br />menacing, leaden weights filling my <br />head and ears, I am weighed down <br />ready to sink under the sea <br /> <br />A stiff hood tightening around my head <br />back and neck - how do people keep <br />working when they feel like this or don’t <br />others share my experience, the bottom <br />falling out of my world, muscle spasms <br />adding to the whole Spiel – the superb <br />advantage of feeling this bad is that I <br />shall appreciate feeling well so much <br />more than before <br /> <br />Most people don’t know the elation of <br />feeling well because such attacks of <br />pain teach the sufferer to take indes- <br />cribable pleasure from existence <br />when the pain abates…<br /><br />Margaret Alice<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/2010-03-29-share/
