Tears, fall down my face as I finally see what I truly mean to you.
Tears fall and hit the ground every time I think of you.
I watch as the tears fall and hit the floor.
Blood, soon mixes with the tears that have fallen.
Soon I see what I truly meant to you.
I see that I was nothing; nothing is exactly what I meant to you.
You played me, and when you were done you tossed me to the side and left me where I now lay.
So now I sit here with the blood slowly flowing from my body.
As the girl in the mirror begins to fade away I see who I really am.
I see that I am a girl who has known love and has lost love.
I see a girl who is tired of living.
I also see a girl who is ready to die and hurt no more.
I watch in the mirror as the blood slowly trickles down my arm, tinting the once white tile floor.
I watch as the tears slowly speed up as I think of the first kiss and the only one we shared.
The kiss I know I would never forget, the kiss from the person who will forever haunt my dreams.
The kiss that I wish would just fade away.
Fade away like the rest of my life.
I will make my life fade away into the nothingness of what it really is.
So with this blade I will end the nightmares.
End them forever, for no one will ever care.
The dreams will soon become sweet again.
I watch as the colors of the world around me start to fade.
I watch as things start to make sense again or maybe not.
I watch as the last of my tears finally fall and hit the floor.
I give out a little laugh and say goodbye to the life I once had.
I say goodbye to all the ones I have hurt.
I say goodbye to all the ones who hurt me.
And I say goodbye to me as I slowly fade away.

Kelsea Osterman

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/fade-away-24/
