Once we moved hand in hand <br />Vowed to live forever as a friend <br />Sun too graced our honest drive <br />Moon also blessed for long to survive <br /> <br />We prayed sun never to scorch <br />Even in noon heat not so much <br />We need not to go in for the search of shed <br />We needed his presence when actually wed <br /> <br />Who will not want bright light in a way? <br />To work very hand for promising day <br />Result may come not in desired pattern <br />It may be start of new life and happy u-turn <br /> <br />Luck would not have it and we have to depart <br />It was tragedy and considered it as integral part <br />Had we not wished a stable and durable journey? <br />Why bitterness couldn’t be removed by use of honey <br /> <br />Some where we erred for simple reasons <br />Suited as an ideal couple and very good persons <br />Hell was let loose on us in rainy season <br />We were bogged down and failed to learn lesson <br /> <br />We had earnest desire still failed to compromise <br />On every turn we longed to stand with all promises <br />It may still be the step considered to be wise <br />It might have proved a doom instead of rise <br /> <br />I wish to return to native place <br />I don’t believe in mad race <br />It is to be considered as simple case <br />There may be ups n down as temporary phase <br /> <br />Words can’t supplement the agony <br />Luxury can’t be brought by money <br />It is how we take and except the challenge <br />It is right to accept fact instead to for revenge<br /><br />hasmukh amathalal<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/an-earnest-move/
