This poem was requested by Keith Kamoso. He gave me some information and asked me to make a poem out of it. This is me writing in his shoes, how I would feel if I were him. <br /> <br />I wake up, it's another day, <br />All I can say is I'm feeling ok, <br />Life's been tough, recently, <br />Life really isn't just a cup of tea. <br />My best friend lied, <br />He had things to hide, <br />He cheated with my girlfriend, <br />Who left me in the very end. <br />Am I loser, am I jerk? <br />Is this what I, really deserve? <br /> <br />No it isn't. <br />I know it's not, <br /> <br />I've done nothing wrong <br />And my will is strong, <br />I now know who my true friends are, <br />All this has left is a miniscule scar, <br />So even if my girlfriend cheated, <br />And my best friend lied, <br />I wake up everday, <br />I will survive.<br /><br />Kelly Aragon<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-will-survive-7/
