I was formed today made by two <br />My body and soul all brand new <br />I start to grow inside her womb <br />Knowing soon my life will bloom <br /> <br />The things I’ll do the places I’ll see <br />O how much life has waiting for me <br />I hope that I’ll grow strong and tall <br />And one day be able to kick a ball <br /> <br />To go to school and learn new things <br />And just to be ready for what life brings <br />Then when I’m ready I’ll get a job of my own <br />Save some money and by a home <br /> <br />That soon I would meet my spouse <br />That would come and share my house <br />At some point we would wed <br />And as life partners we would share a bed <br /> <br />To start a family of our own <br />With laughing children to fill our home <br />But thing don`t seem to be going well <br />Even now as her tummy starts to swell <br /> <br />now as my little body starts to form <br />She seems more troubled with every dawn <br />I sense her anguish I feel her pain <br />Now that her blood flows in my veins <br /> <br />Every day they scream and shout <br />I don`t know what it`s all about <br />Nothing seems to be going right <br />So often I wake up with such a fright <br /> <br />At night she cries herself to sleep <br />Her soul cries from with her deep <br />Of all the promise life has in store <br />It seems it all will be no more <br /> <br />I have no choice to decide <br />My little body is stuck inside <br />This horrible choice I have no say <br />To end my life this tragic way <br /> <br />It looks as if my life will be short <br />As she has decided to me abort<br /><br />Vaughn Bekker<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/abortion-my-short-life/
