Here we stand before our oma, who 70 years today <br />That you have the best birthday, this to God we pray <br />70 candles so many to blow, by you our precious gran <br />We thought you might need some help, so we brought along the fan <br /> <br />Of all the gifts you`ve given us, the best of all is love <br />We think you make the angel`s smile, up in heaven above <br />Whenever we have visited, you have just spoilt us rotten <br />So many precious moments, that will never be forgotten <br /> <br />At your house there`s pizza, we get to stay up late <br />We know when we are back home, there`s veggies on our plate <br />Shopping for clothes, is the most fun of all <br />When all of us together, spend the day at the mall <br /> <br />Every night when we go to bed, we pray to heaven above <br />That God may bless you, and shower you with His love <br />Now after all we`ve said, there`s only one thing left to do <br />And that is for us to shout, GRAN WE LOVE YOU! ! ! <br /> <br /> <br />(written for two kids 9 and10, to recite for there grans 70 birthday)<br /><br />Vaughn Bekker<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/70-candles/
