From the shadows there comes a scream, <br />A noise made only in terror, <br />As soon as it started, it stops, <br />She is slain, <br />Ice fills my heart, <br />And tears adorn my face, <br />Within a second, i too shall be dead, <br />My essence captured by the twisted earth itself, <br />I know i am truly damned, <br />The beast steps from the shadows, <br />Regards me with disinterest, <br />I am merely food, a necesserity, <br />His mind that is so full of evil, <br />Begins to poison my heart and soul, <br />A strangled cry of fear flees from my lips, <br />Yet the creature is uncaring, <br />It's eyes full of malice and dark desire, <br />An evil thirst that is never quenched, <br />This monster is a thing of pain, <br /> <br />Man's Lust<br /><br />Kieran J1996<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-beast-within/
