Will he remember me after so long? <br />Or realistically - still care to care? <br />Could what i think is right be utterly wrong? <br />But only four months more and i have to dare. <br />Nothing more than stupidity is this. <br />But another crack in my heart <br />Makes me think there is no Lover's Bliss. <br />Should i allow my soul another jumpstart? <br />A year has it been since he's gone. <br />After men so many, i do long to see. <br />So childish would i be if he doesnt long <br />For me as i realize i now do for he. <br />Or perhaps i have so long been alone, <br />I am a con to my vulerable heart so broken. <br />So broken - i fear it will be turned to stone. <br />It's song may ne'er be heard for it has gone unspoken. <br />Will this Angel From Afar allow me to stay? <br />All i wish is someone kind to talk to <br />With maturity above lust to sway. <br />This would bring much comfort that is overdue. <br />So, with patience as my only reliance to date, <br />I face fate unknown for now i must wait - must wait.<br /><br />Conchita Mauer<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/waiting-for-an-angel-2/
