The circle of life goes round, <br />and then round some more. <br />For most a roundabout of want, <br />minds fed by a parade of things <br />all made to increase ones desire. <br /> <br />Suppose we could have everything, <br />money, power, status, sex, security, <br />all our desires satisfied, what then, <br />now we have made it, what comes <br />next with all our wants fulfilled? <br /> <br />We will now realise having all of life’s <br />pleasures, does not make us happy, <br />does not fill the aching gap, the need. <br />For once ask what our heart desires, <br />we’ll find it needs peace and liberty <br /> <br />from the cycle of wants, desires, and <br />craving for life’s material pleasures. <br />The freedom to be happy with what <br />we already possess and permission <br />to enjoy each present moment Now. <br /> <br /> <br />Bob Blackwell <br />11-05-2010<br /><br />Bob Blackwell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-circle-of-life-7/
