I can't help but contemplate <br />Of the mess I made <br />I could never calculate <br />'Cause my memory tends to fade <br /> <br />I have no one to blame <br />For my present state in life <br />God knows I have tried <br />To learn wrong from right <br /> <br />For so long I attempted <br />To point my finger at friends <br />I couldn't help but notice <br />Three were pointing back again <br /> <br />No one took my hand <br />That lead me to this path <br />Once I started the journey <br />There was no looking back <br /> <br />I'll never be able <br />To admit it wasn't fun <br />It isn't until now <br />I notice the wreck I become <br /> <br />It seems the day arrived <br />To put beers and drugs away <br />Take a hard look at life <br />Get on my knees and pray <br /> <br />No will to control <br />My actions or my thoughts <br />I admit to my Supreme Being <br />My body and mind are lost <br /> <br />I submit to Him <br />To do as He will <br />I know what I must face <br />It won't be a magic pill <br /> <br />That's when I felt His Touch <br />In the center of my soul <br />All this time just waiting <br />For me to reach and take hold<br /><br />SinJace Ramos<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/supreme-being-4/
