On scraps of petals <br />I poured out verses <br />for the angel in me to sing. <br /> <br />The stars twinkled <br /> in ethereal blues and myriad colours. <br />The angel dressed in white gown <br />with flowing sleeves <br />and a golden crown <br />began to dance <br /> to the heavenly tunes of my verses. <br /> <br />Like an adoring pilgrim <br />with love filled eyes, <br />I lift up my palms <br /> filled with the milk of purity <br /> and poured it on your blessed countenance. <br />The milk flew down <br />on the eyes, nose, lips, chin <br />and along the contours of your body. <br /> <br /> It was a venerable adoration <br />beyond any reasoning. <br /> <br />In the pouring light of the soft morning sun <br />white clouds lie flat on the lap of the blue sky. <br /> <br />At dusk <br />I heard the whispers of the mild rain <br />and felt the gentle cool breeze. <br /> <br />Fill my heart O Angel <br />with the gentle music of a flute. <br />Touch my lips with a white feather. <br />Paint my eyelids with the golden rays of the dawn. <br />Make me lie on your holy lap <br />like dew drops clinging to the blooming rose. <br /> <br />(My adoration of the angel in me cannot be explained by human reasoning. In the morning and at dusk I pray “fill my heart O Angel and make me lie on your holy lap”. <br />My verses and the angel’s song and dance and my adoration with the milk of purity are my expressions of a devotion of this inner reality in which I believe.
