Finally it has rained with much relief <br />We has strong conviction and belief <br />We knew it can’t leave us in pain <br />We had prayed for lots of rain <br /> <br />Out patience had run out <br />We were not sure where to go out <br />What was about to happen in course? <br />We were duly worried of course <br /> <br />We were coming across unusual deaths <br />We considered it as nature’s wrath <br />We have done enough damage to environment <br />It is no use now to curse and lament <br /> <br />Can we create artificial cooling on large scale? <br />Can little pond make it easy swim for whale? <br />Can whole universe breathe and inhale? <br />Certainly not as it remains only tale <br /> <br />Nature is supreme and remains so <br />We have no where to go <br />If we fail to preserve the sanctity <br />We may certainly loose our entity <br /> <br />Let us enjoy the cool breeze <br />Good bye to ill feelings and freeze <br />We shall again pray for your arrival <br />We shall celebrate it as big carnival <br /> <br />Come dropp by drop <br />Rain endlessly and don’t stop <br />I shall watch it from roof top <br />Fields may look green with crops <br /> <br />You have brought enough of respite <br />We were so unconsiderate despite <br />We had only dust to bite <br />You arrived with thunder and light <br /> <br />Children and old ran in street <br />With so much happiness and joy to greet <br />Rainbow has appeared in sky to meet <br />The earth soil is happy and ready to treat <br /> <br /> <br />We may never dare to neglect <br />Earth is geared to collect <br />the sacred down pour with enough care <br />It is blessing in disguise from somewhere<br /><br />hasmukh amathalal<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-much-awaited-relief/
