Does James Redfield’s vision enlarge the imagination - <br />definitely, it offers an alternative view, energetic and <br />refreshing, I enjoy his lyrical descriptions, but resent <br />his forcing HIS view of world peace on us <br /> <br />All other views encompassed by his delineation of <br />history as evolution towards consciousness whereas <br />I believe consciousness came first, made the plans, <br />laid the blueprint; convinced the universe is filled <br /> <br />With higher forms of intelligence than humans; his view <br />is restrictive, yet he subsumes everything, though bigger <br />than materialism, it is a local vision not taking millions of <br />alternative life-forms into account <br /> <br />He reinstates mystery, but it is localised, limited to planet <br />earth and one Afterlife, he wants all fighting groups to start <br />discussing their life and views – it will not work because he <br />uses Christian religion as the umbrella framework <br /> <br />He fills the contemporary Western view of human history with <br />Eastern mysticism and calls it a new World Vision… <br /> <br />The Tenth Insight – James Redfield<br /><br />Margaret Alice<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/2010-07-20-reinstates-mystery/
