I KNOW WHY THE <br />EAGLES NEST SO HIGH: <br />Original 04 18 2010 Improvisation 09 24 2010 <br /> <br /> <br />The eagles’ high rock cleft shelter and <br />Rampart hospice set plains to beg <br />Endurance to reach paranormal abundance <br />Need flustered and resentment brooding flail <br />Impulse aperture berths in her nest -observant <br />Markets sugar coat hunger and things <br />Faith gained through suffering would bring <br />If she unfilled would leave with winter <br />I know why the eagles nest so high <br />From advantage -higher-ups build nests <br />Above plains and seas but by the dark of <br />Their own shadows cast down <br />Upon the widow’s pain -fatherless they too <br />Become the last who are left to the <br /> Imago and lonely idols <br />I know why the eagles nest so high <br />Temptation brings to the world whole all worldly <br />Pleasures –she alone would come with spring <br />But fear the dark in shadows cast upon <br />Widows and upon the fatherless for they too <br />Shall perish together under the slain -no life is <br />There living worth living out the string <br />No less there to remain buried nested and dry <br /> The last refused live to die <br />Go where we can fast these many days of power <br />I know why the eagles nest so high. <br /> <br /> <br />Lee Mack copyright 2009.
