Of North Korea and nuclear weapons of late so much we hear <br />But of super powers with weapons of mass destruction should we show less of fear <br />Than poor little North Korea and who are we to trust <br />Should those with nuclear weapons tell us what is right and just? <br /> <br />The North Koreans have been seeing what is happening in Afghanistan and Iraq <br />And who is to say their fears are not justified of on them an imminent attack <br />Since the war dogs at you growling attention you ought to pay <br />For they can turn very nasty if they do not get their way. <br /> <br />Far too many weapons of mass destruction in the World of today <br />And that none should have such destructive power at their disposal only seems fair to say <br />Many of those who condemn the North Koreans and Iranians for wanting to join the nuclear race <br />Would be doing the World a favour if they themselves done an about face <br /> <br />And get rid of their nuclear weapons and by good example lead <br />And the hungry of the World with the money they save feed <br />Then the likes of North Korea and Iran would not feel so under threat <br />That they would not need to be part of the race to humanity's death.<br /><br />Francis Duggan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/of-north-korea/
