In the pouring rain <br />I learnt to <br />Turn my sorrow into joy <br />By creating the illusion of action <br />And by reordering moments into new <br />Where I put my fate into God's hands <br />In the world of uncertainty <br />And opened my path <br />To each moment of my life........ <br /> <br />In the pouring rain <br />My heart, body, mind and soul <br />All got cleansed and washed <br />And I saw the source of of love <br />That snap back my life <br />Where I learnt <br />How to manage and cope with pain <br />And believe in seen and unseen <br />And remove the shadow of past <br />To save myself to sink into despair......... <br /> <br />In the pouring rain <br />I found the joy in every moment <br />With the tide of excitement <br />Going up and down <br />Bringing hope and gratitude <br />To sprinkle joy on a grey day <br />And fight the crowded and conflicting emotions <br />And count simple blessings <br />To make life sweet <br />And thank God for all those blissful rain drops........<br /><br />Seema Chowdhury<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/in-the-pouring-rain/
