She looks beyond the natural things <br />And sees by faith what supernatural brings <br />She hears the sound when work bell rings <br />And rises up securing her apron strings <br />Knees bent in prayer she looks not for ease <br /> <br />She walks and talks she sings and laughs <br />You wonder how she views her daily tasks <br />Children asleep to her husband she speaks <br />Dear let's bow down at the Saviour's feet <br />And worship Him before we take our retreat <br /> <br />She waste no time to question his mind <br />But concern with His words more defined <br />With few minutes here and few minutes there <br />She give and receives love in quiet atmosphere <br />She remove herself from what would interfere <br /> <br />This woman so pleasant and full of good cheer <br />She scatters sunshine and glows everywhere <br />With such contentment her songs fill the air <br />She girds her loins with the garment of praise <br />And her lips bear all kinds of spiritual fruit <br /> <br />She grumbles not about things she can't change <br />And spends time praying asking God to re-arrange <br />Her thoughts and her feelings with desire to engage <br />In some glorious assignment sets out in His word <br />So with earnest desire she picks up her sword <br /> <br />Dressed as a soldier she marches without fear <br />And trust Him completely to guide her affair <br />She sees all the pitfalls and traps from afar <br />Knows there's an ambush but trust in His care <br />Believes none can defeat her because He is near. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />All rights reserved.<br /><br />Gladys Brown Prince<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-woman-god-will-use/
