As i look at him from across the room <br />My heart begin's to melt, <br />I remember all those loving year's <br />And the feeling's that we felt. <br /> <br />I remember the day's when he was mine <br />with a love no one could part, <br />But now i know i've lost him <br />There's a pain deep in my heart. <br /> <br />He will never love me the same again, <br />She has won and i have lost. <br />No one should have to pay this price <br />Not at any cost. <br /> <br />How will i live without him? <br />How will i carry on? <br />How lonlely will my life be? <br />Now that he has gone. <br /> <br />Will she care for him like i did? <br />Will her love be as strong as mine? <br />Will she cherish him as i do <br />From now till the end of time. <br /> <br />But i suppose i must except it now <br />No matter how hard the blow. <br />I really must release him, <br />I need to let him go. <br /> <br />So when we reach the church tomorrow <br />I'll try and be a good mum, <br />I'll forgive the lovely lady <br />Who is marrying my son.<br /><br />wendy. thopliss<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/will-he-still-love-me/
