It’s nice to see an altar call <br />To hear is wondrous sound <br />Yet tender plants can fail and fall <br />Because of unknown ground <br /> <br />How swift they come but then depart <br />Leaving a bothered bride <br />Through lack of knowledge in their heart <br />True faith has been denied <br /> <br />It’s not enough to hear of Christ <br />Or hear The Lord can save <br />But know why He was sacrificed <br />And rose from death and grave <br /> <br />We need The Truth to first embrace <br />The cross must stand in view <br />Before advancing primal grace <br />A courtship should pursue <br /> <br />We need to sit a while and talk <br />Secrets must take their flight <br />Both hand in hand to often walk <br />Till feelings come to light <br /> <br />Till truth and love has been revealed <br />Past differences resigned <br />Till life’s covenant’s duly sealed <br />And hearts can be entwined <br /> <br />With such procedure firm in mind <br />With Heaven’s love as guide <br />The soul once lost the eye once blind <br />Will stay for life inside <br /> <br />Knowing their Groom as King of kings <br />Lord of Heaven and earth <br />Their souls will rise on eagle wings <br />Through Jesus’ second birth<br /><br />Michael P.
