Sometimes when you've done all you can do <br />and you realize the one you love isn't in love with you, <br />instead of foolishly hanging on, <br />it's best to pack your bags and move along, <br />the thought of changing may seem unnerving <br />but there's someone else out there more deserving, <br />at first you might feel a bit disappointed <br />because you couldn't have who you really wanted, <br />but sometimes you have to try a different scene <br />get away from the same routine, <br />'father time' will heal your wounds <br />the next person will play the right tunes', <br />you just have to persevere through the pain <br />in time', your attitude will start to change, <br />your life will seem to flow a lot smoother <br />you'll no longer give a dam' about that other loser, <br />your smile will have a brighter gleam <br />you'll feel a higher level of self-esteem, <br />you're now feeling good once again <br />you're happier than you've ever been, <br />see sometimes, just because you fell <br />doesn't mean your world will be a living hell <br />it's because you've traveled a troubled path <br />you can now appreciate what you have.<br /><br />Bernard Snyder<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/sometimes-318/
