There's a tragedy all around us <br />everywhere we seem to turn, <br />we hear of thousands of people being killed <br />tons of acres being burned, <br />we now have cruise lines constantly sinking <br />at such an alarming rate, <br />we try to get our answers on Sundays <br />but even our pastor is losing faith, <br />we're fighting in this crazy war <br />which I don't think we'll ever win, <br />we try to take our kids to dinner <br />but the prices at the gas pump keeps us in, <br />we now have Earthquakes ripping through China <br />Tsunamis and Cyclones burying Japan <br />yet your biggest fear of all is <br />the reality of America being led by a black man<br /><br />Bernard Snyder<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/wake-up-people-2/
