Remember last year when we had been best friends? <br />We promised to never leave each other till the very end, <br />Remember all the memories we had spent together? <br />Memories that will never fade away, inside us forever. <br /> <br />Along our friendship there's been a lot of fights going on, <br />But nothing can ever break our friendship bond. <br />Not even a boy, not even a girl, <br />You're the bestest friend in the whole wide world. <br /> <br />We fight alot and you know it's trye, <br />But I'm glad we actually made it through. <br />The crazy things we did and the times we had spent, <br />Enter the graduation stage and knew a new year had began. <br /> <br />The next new year a new chapter began, <br />Knowing that things will never be the same. <br />We thought we could make it, taking the risk, <br />Never knew it would turn out like this. <br /> <br />I was torn between two friends and had to choose one, <br />Whether I like it or not, believe me it was no fun. <br />But what choice do I have as you were far apart, <br />Choosing between you and her, do you know how hard? <br /> <br />Eventhough it's over and nothing could ever be the same, <br />Well that's how life is, it's just like a game. <br />Eventhough I had chose her and our 'best friend days' had end, <br />But whatever happens, you're still my best friend.<br /><br />Ainin Sofiya<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/you-re-still-my-best-friend/
