Crackling, the sparks enchant me. <br />Swaying and turning, without direction, <br />Yet always with purpose, intention, a lust for life. <br /> <br />Though destined to disappear, <br />They fight, they fight, they fight. <br />Never giving in they keep going outward until they pop. <br /> <br />Until the switch is flicked, until their life is up, <br />They fought, they fought, they fought. <br />They knew it would happen, ending without a second’s notice. <br /> <br />Is life but a spark, with so little time? <br />Must we fight, fight, fight? <br />We know our end will be before we can stop it. <br />Why continue? Why not give up? <br />Why pursue the impossible. <br /> <br />For the glory? We won’t be there to say we did. <br />For the stories to tell?
