When Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall <br />Was it summer, winter or fall? <br />Was it a weekday or a weekend? <br />Wish they were someplace else with a friend. <br /> <br />Was it a murder or a sucide? <br />I am yet to investigate and decide <br />And in case of later was there somone <br />in whom they did confide? <br /> <br />Someone told me yesterday that <br />Humpty-Dumpty were not two people but one <br />But no one knows for sure how many they were <br />And if it all was staged just for fun <br /> <br />Some say they had no reason to be unhappy <br />As they had planned a double date <br />Miss Muffet with Humpty and Jill with Dumpty <br />But look at their ill fate <br /> <br />Miss Muffet was scared by a spider during her lunch <br />This was a set-up, I have a hunch <br />Plus Jill who definitely has a history with falling <br />Remember her ex jack who broke his crown <br />Lost his memory, but says there definitely was some hauling <br /> <br />So many mysteries surroundiing this case <br />Like why would an egg sit on a wall in first place <br />and a rumour troubling me the most <br />that the kings men had them scrambled with toast!<br /><br />Soma Mukherjee<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/case-001-humpty-dumpty/
