Screaming and sobbing, <br />she begs and pleads, <br />asking me to spare her pathetic life. <br /> <br />Knife in hand, <br />ready to strike, <br />it'd be so easy, <br />I can already taste the blood. <br /> <br />Now she'll give me anything, <br />now she says she's sorry, <br />now she says she loves me. <br /> <br />It means nothing to me <br />if she lives or dies, <br />just another person <br />who's betrayed and lied. <br /> <br />Now she see's me, <br />now she cares, <br />now she knows all the hurt she caused. <br /> <br />The knife falls down, <br />clanging to the ground by her head <br />as i walk away. <br /> <br />She has not changed, <br />nor will she ever. <br />It would be a waste <br />of time and effort <br />to kill this pathetic creature. <br />So she'll live on, <br />hating me <br />while I live on, <br />feeling nothing, <br />anger nor love, <br />regret nor hatred, <br />for her.<br /><br />Death's Shadow<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/feeling-nothing-2/
