‘Dad' is that ment to resemble love or hurt? <br />Hatred or happiness? <br />To me it resembles hurt and hatred, <br />Not love and happiness, <br />As all he does is hurt me. <br />He's ment to be my dad, <br />Giving it a second chance, <br />Making up for lost years, <br />But if making up lost years was to cause hurt, <br />Was there a point in trying? <br />I was ment to trust you, <br />I was ment to love you <br />I was ment to call you my dad, <br />But to me you are no longer my dad, <br />Your Geoff, <br />‘Dads' don't go out with there daughters ex-best mate, <br />Who is the same age as there daughter, <br />There youngest daughter, <br />Thats just wrong, <br />I wish i wern't so caring, <br />That way i wouldn't hurt so much, <br />But you don't care if im hurt, <br />And don't say you do, <br />if you did you wouldn't still be with her, <br />And you wouldn't have told me what you did last night, <br />I hope she says no, <br />That way you will be hurt too, <br />But no where near as hurt as i am, <br />I wont be there for that event, <br />And If you ask her that question then, <br />Its goodbye, <br />I will do to you, <br />What you did to me when i was a baby, <br />I will walk out of your life, <br />And not return for as long as you are with her. <br /> <br /> <br />I guess you readers may understand why i wrote this one, so i dont really need to say anything. x P.S the question was him asking her to marry him.<br /><br />StaceyLeigh Olner<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dad-83/
