Some believe that there's a heatwave <br />That's heading for us soon! <br />That prophecy is somewhat brave, <br />Yet it would be a boon! <br />Spring into Summer, suddenly, <br />No duffle coats in sight! <br />If you're like me, you'll wait and see, <br />We could get snow tonight! <br /> <br />But if a heatwave's on its way, <br />I'll get the icecreams out! <br />Like you, I'll shout, 'Hip, hip, hooray! ' <br />And cast off all my doubt... <br />I'll fill the paddling pool again, <br />I'll even mow the lawn! <br />I'll treat myself to cool champagne <br />Until the last drop's gorn... <br /> <br />I'll paint that fence as good as new, <br />I'll paint the wall as well... <br />I'll praise the Lord and say, 'Thank You!
