With change comes pain, branches hit on the roof <br />where at a time you could sit on the porch, <br />the garden is falling into disrepair, with weeds everywhere, <br />roses and lavender bushes are only growing at places <br />and turned into yourself you take life at ease. <br /> <br />In loneliness you decide to move, <br />with the emptiness in the big house almost suffocating you, <br />at times you want to fall on the bed and cover your eyes, <br />with change comes pain. <br /> <br />At times things go out of control, so intensely that you gasp for breath, <br />it feels as if everything is declining, you feel like a wreck, <br />are walking from empty room to empty room, <br />with a feeling that you can die; <br />with change comes pain.<br /><br />Gert Strydom<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/with-change-comes-pain/
